No I do not see it as appropriate to even try and turn off from the
personal. Not possible anyway.
While we are ‘in a body’ - the physical, mental and emotional are facts
for us.
What I am suggesting is that we cease to keep making the personal our main
focus. It is not possible to ‘fix’ the personal - it just keeps coming up with
another level.
As Kibir said: “When the mind decides to get rid of the mind,
it always holds on to one thing."
So to keep looking out for the personal trends - past/future, behaviours,
resentments, complaints, and disconnect from feeding them with any energy
- of any sort - support, fixing, ignoring.
So taking care of that personal level only so they are cleared enough for
the main energy to be as uninterrupted as possible from making the
essential our priority.
